Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is a Grammy Award-winning[1] American pop singer, dancer, actress, author and songwriter.

She is best known for her studio albums, music videos, and songs such as "…Baby One More Time", "Oops!…I Did It Again", "I’m a Slave 4 U" and "Toxic". In the early 2000s, Spears’s success as a singer led her way to high-profile advertising deals and endorsements, as well as forays into other forms of media, including film and reality television. Her third and fourth albums, Britney and In the Zone, were released during this era. In 2004 she married back-up dancer and aspiring rap artist Kevin Federline, and the following year she gave birth to their first son, Sean Preston. Their second son, Jayden James, was born in 2006. Spears filed for divorce from Federline on November 7, 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.[2]
Spears has sold over seventy-six million records worldwide according to TIME magazine.[3] Having sold over 31 million albums in the US, Spears ranks as the eighth best-selling female artist in American music history.[4]

MADONNA is moving her family from London to New York to be closer to her ailing dad as he fights cancer.

The Queen Of Pop, who now lives almost permanently in the UK, has already been Stateside to see Tony Ciccone twice this year.

Her fears for his deteriorating health have forced her to uproot the family from London and plan for them to spend much more time in the US.

Her film director hubby GUY RITCHIE has been busy working in LA and she is now trying to find a new family home in New York.

A source said: “Madonna, Guy and the kids are definitely moving to New York this year.

“The deal is to spend as much time there as in London — if not more.

“Guy hasn’t been as keen on the idea but Madonna is insisting they are moving.”

Madonna’s dad has been receiving treatment for colon cancer in Leelanau County Hospital, Michigan, which is relatively close to New York.

Recent reports suggested he was making good progress — but Madge fears he is putting on a brave face to benefit family and friends.

My source told me: “Madonna’s dad is going through the mill and she wants to be there for him and to help his spirits by letting him see more of his grandchildren.

“Guy is working more and more in LA on his new TV show, a film project and a documentary.

“The move will be a big upheaval but Madonna needs to be near her dad and the support network of her closest friends.”

MOVIE beauty ANGELINA JOLIE has named her new adopted son PEACEFUL SKY — after picking him from photos taken when she visited his Vietnamese orphanage.

The actress, 31, became besotted with the bashful three-year-old after he tried to hide from her last November.

An orphanage source said last night: “When Angelina came, all the children went out to greet her.

“But the boy hid and cried. She asked for photos of the children and she recognised him and said she would love to adopt him.”

The star has two other adopted kids — son Maddox, five, from Cambodia, and daughter Zahara, two, from Ethiopia.

She had her own baby, Shiloh, with film hunk partner BRAD PITT, 43, ten months ago.

Yesterday, Angelina returned with Maddox to the Tam Binh orphanage near Ho Chi Minh City to pick up her new son.

IT’S been a good week for ANGELINA JOLIE.

Not only has she finalised a new addition to the Jolie-Pitt clan, but she’s also beaten KATE WINSLET to the No1 spot in a yummy mummy poll.

The Tomb Raider star - mother to MADDOX, ZAHARA, 10-month-old SHILOH and newly adopted Vietnamese boy PAX THIEN - won the title with around a quarter of the total vote.
